Job description

Waylight is looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a mid 80's female client in Troy, MI (48085). This is an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a long-term client while working a flexible schedule.

Schedule & Hours :

  • Wednesday's and Fridays : 4pm - 8pm

Care Needs :

  • Standby assist for mobility and safety
  • Help getting in / out of bed, getting dressed, using the bathroom, and bathing (as needed)
  • Light housekeeping and tidying to ensure a clean, safe environment
  • Evening support : companionship, assist with light cleanup, and help with bedtime routine
  • Compassionate presence and emotional support

    • Position Highlights :

  • Consistent weekly hours with potential to increase as trust and routine are established
  • Opportunity to become a long-term caregiver for a stable client
  • Support from the Waylight Care Coordinator for scheduling and ongoing success

    • Ideal Candidate :

  • 3 years caregiving experience working with elderly
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work both Wednesday and Friday.
  • Kind, patient, and communicative
  • CNA or HHA certification a plus, but not required.
