Safety Analyst Position

What You'll Need
3+ years of construction experience with a proven history of safety compliance, or 1 year of safety-specific position experience, or a combination of construction and safety experience. Experience conducting training in group settings is preferred as conducting training in group settings is required. DOT compliance experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret general business documents; operating and maintenance instructions; procedure manuals, and descriptions; and government regulations such as OSHA and DOT requirements. Ability to clearly write reports and business correspondence. Ability to adapt communication style and approach to effectively interact with individuals at all levels throughout the organization, subcontractors and vendors (both verbal and written) with diplomacy and tact. General computer skills including working knowledge of Internet software; spreadsheet, word processing, and database software. Self-motivated and driven. Works well independently and on a team. Willingness to obtain OSHA and other training certificates, licenses or registrations as necessary. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Class A driver's license with tanker endorsement preferred. Must maintain a current DOT health card certificate. Travel within the TelCom market 50% of the time is required.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
Ability to safely wear various forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Frequently stand and sit. Occasionally kneel, squat, bend and twist. Frequent use of sight and hearing. Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions. Frequently walk on uneven, slippery or otherwise potentially hazardous surfaces consistent with an outdoor working environment. Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Be in a moderately noisy environment.
