Description :

The unit has 23 beds and a staff of over 85.

It includes day shift charge, coordinators, nurse managers, transport, RNs, CSTs, and OR assistants.

Night shift has charge nurses, two RNs, two CSTs, anesthesia techs, and OR assistants.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1.

The unit uses EMR software.

Typical procedures performed include neuro / spine surgery, orthopedic trauma, total joint revisions, robotics (gyn, colorectal, thoracic, urology), and plastics trauma procedures.

The unit operates 24 / 7 and call may be required.

Shifts available are 10 and 12 hours.

Preferred candidates will have experience in the listed specialties.

Dress code consists of ceil blue or royal blue scrubs for nurses.

The unit follows specific guidelines and policies.

A best personality fit is required for the role.
