• Key Responsibilities :
• Learn COBOL Development :
• You will be trained to write, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications, primarily for financial and business systems.
• Problem Solving :
• Apply mathematical and analytical skills to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve legacy systems written in COBOL.
• System Maintenance :
• Work on maintaining and enhancing existing COBOL programs, ensuring they are running efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams :
• Work closely with business analysts, system architects, and other developers to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Documentation and Testing :
• Help create documentation for software and systems, and participate in the testing process to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Continuous Learning :
• Stay updated on emerging technology trends and be willing to expand your skills to other programming languages and technologies as needed.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree
• in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field. (Teaching experience in mathematics is a plus!)
• Strong
• problem-solving abilities
• with a logical, structured approach to tackling challenges.
• A passion for learning new concepts, technologies, and systems. We will provide the necessary training to become proficient in COBOL.
• Excellent communication skills
• and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented
• with the ability to analyze data and perform complex calculations accurately.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and an eagerness to take on new challenges.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
