Responsibilities Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital with a 10-bed unit Annual ED volume of approximately 11,500 patients Two RNs provide coverage with 2-4 hours of daily overlap Trauma Level IV facility Variable 12-hour shifts including every other weekend and holiday No on-call requirements ICU float preferred but not required Uses Epic for charting, Epic experience required Duties include triage, splinting, and emergency care for pediatric and adult patients Must wear scrubs of any color Holiday coverage required as part of the regular schedule Travelers may be placed on call during low census periods with call-back pay available Requirements Active Michigan RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department nursing experience Epic charting system experience required Experience with ECI triage and splinting skills required Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615751.
