American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a trauma level II acute care setting, requiring ARRT certification and trauma experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital-based radiology department within a 223-bed acute care facilityTrauma level II environment providing general radiology, fluoroscopy, c-arm, cartography, and trauma imagingPerform CR-DR imaging and portable x-ray throughout the hospital, including OR and ER settingsUtilize equipment such as GE, Philips, Carestream, Toshiba, and PACS (McKesson)Electronic charting using Epic EMRWeekend shift schedule : Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-9p, Sunday 7a-7pCall coverage is requiredIndependent work is requiredMay float to OR, ER, and other hospital locationsResponsibilities include performing a wide range of radiology imaging procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environmentOn-site orientation includes EMR system and protocol reviewGray hospital scrubs are providedAll clinicians must badge in and out of the facilityCandidates who previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have at least a 6-month gap before considerationTime off requests are considered but must be discussed prior to assignmentPermanent address must be more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years recent experience in general radiology and trauma imagingCurrent ARRT certification requiredND State Temporary or Permanent License required if applicableCurrent BLS certification requiredExperience in trauma level I or II environments requiredExperience in hospital settings with 400+ beds requiredStrong skills in CR-DR imaging, fluoroscopy, c-arm use, and trauma proceduresPrior travel experience highly preferred\n Benefits\n
