Job descriptionMedical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Current and unrestricted Texas medical license. Clean DEA registration. Ability to work effectively in a correctional environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competitive hourly rate. Travel and accommodations are covered. Fast credentialing process, with potential to start in as little as two weeks.

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Locum Primary Care Physician / General Practitioner to provide essential medical services within a correctional facility located approximately one hour outside of San Antonio, Texas. This part-time position requires a commitment of 16 hours per week.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients within a correctional setting.
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat common medical conditions, and manage chronic diseases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
