Responsibilities
- Attend and complete all required training sessions and obtain all online certifications from applicable binding and helmet manufacturers.
- Attend vendor-led clinics.
- Provide consistent exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests through the rental process and in selecting equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is adjusted for the renter per industry standards and that waivers are signed where required.
- Provide appropriate instruction on rental equipment use and customer responsibility.
- Utilize the computerized rental solutions system to check out and check in equipment accurately.
- Inspect rental equipment for general condition and damage upon rental and return.
- Monitor guest flow and expedite the rental process as needed.
- Engage guests on the retail floor, answering questions in a prompt and professional manner.
- Assist in stocking and maintaining the retail sales floor.
- Use POS software to sell retail items and rental products; inform management of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop appearance.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Powder Mountain terrain and provide terrain advice for an exceptional guest experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
18 years of age or olderHS Diploma – preferredAdherence to Powder Mountain appearance guidelinesAcquire binding certifications and follow training as requiredProficiency with phone systems, POS software, and scheduling softwareProficiency with Google SuiteStrong computer experienceAbility to work with the public in a friendly, courteous mannerAbility to handle high customer demand, including weekends and holidaysPolished, polite, resourceful, and proactive in anticipating guest needsArticulate, enthusiastic, and able to remain energetic during peak seasonsReliable transportation or commitment to using UTAAvailability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call as neededPhysical Requirements
