Unit : Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC)

Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric RN for a travel assignment in the Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC) at a leading children’s hospital in Rochester, NY . The PCCC is the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western New York , specializing in comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with both acquired and congenital cardiac conditions .

This is a high-acuity unit where nurses care for some of the most complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.

Schedule Details :

Shifts : 12-hour shifts

Rotation : Days, Evenings, and Nights

Coverage : Weekends, holidays, on-call / callback, and charge duties as needed

Weekly Hours : 36 hours

Responsibilities Include :

Delivering specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients in ICU setting

Monitoring and managing high-acuity cardiac conditions

Collaborating with pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers

Providing education and emotional support to families

Responding to cardiac emergencies and managing post-op recovery

Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and individualized patient care planning

Required Qualifications :

2+ years of pediatric nursing experience

Experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Pediatric Cardiac Care required

Active New York State RN License (must be in hand before start)

Required Certifications :

BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

PALS – American Heart Association ONLY
