Job descriptionProven experience as an Ironworker. Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and materials. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Competitive hourly wage ranging from $28 to $32 per hour, (DOE) Standard 40-hour workweek. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans. Job Title : Ironworker
Location : Austin, Texas, United States
Salary : $28-$32 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of ironworking tasks including but not limited to erecting structural steel, installing precast concrete panels, and assembling metal buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
- Operate machinery such as cranes and hoists to position and lift steel components into place.
- Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with other members of the construction team to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
