Gastroenterology - Central New York

• Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC / BE Gastroenterologist to join their team
• Guaranteed salary : $725,000+ DOE plus wRVU
• ERCP a plus but not required. No capability for EUS at this time
• Monday - Friday schedule 8 am to 4 : 30 pm
• Join one physician in office and 1 physician in the 3-room endo suite. Looking to increase staff to 3 physicians and 2.5 APPs
• High volume practice - physicians see approximately 20 patients per day with support, plus 10-15 scopes per day, and available for inpatient
• Call :
• 7 days of ED call per month (5 week days and 2 weekend days)
• Local private physicians provide additional weekend coverage (7 am Friday - 7 am Monday)
• Additional weekday coverage currently split between the 2 employed GIs and is paid at $1,000 per night
• Low volume call - typically resolved via telephone and prepped for next day
• EMR : Meditech
