Responsibilities and Duties

  • Welding Proficiency : Expertise in various welding processes and techniques.
  • Blueprint Reading : Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Technical Knowledge : Understanding of metallurgy, geometry, and welding principles.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve welding issues.
  • Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.
  • Attention to Detail : Ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to specifications

    • Qualifications and Skills

  • Welding :
  • Joining metal parts together using various welding processes like MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Blueprint Interpretation :
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute welding tasks.
  • Material Preparation :
  • Cleaning, preparing, and cutting metal components according to specifications.
  • Equipment Operation :
  • Operating welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and other tools safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control :
  • Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring they meet required standards, and performing necessary repairs.
  • Safety Compliance :
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
