Seasonal Landscape Technician

Job Summary : The Landscaper performs daily technical functions within the Landscaping department. This includes in-park work as well as maintaining the greenhouse operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Working within the Landscape Department on various activities, such as assisting the outside landscape company on maintaining the Park - Perform a variety of landscape maintenance including but not limited to : planting, weeding, watering, etc. - Helping with irrigation and tree trimmings - Assist other maintenance department with park tasks - All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications : - Basic knowledge of the operational aspects of machinery components. - Previous landscape experience helpful. - Experience working on irrigation controllers. - A valid Driver's License and High School Diploma or valid GED. - A basic set of hand tools. - Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. - Ability to perform various physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting, from various heights on structures. - Vocational or technical trade certifications. - Demonstrable ability to keep accurate written records, blueprints, diagrams and maps. - Highly motivated, self-starter, and ability to work well unsupervised. - Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, and kneel repeatedly. - Must be able to lift up to 80lbs. Other Functions : All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
