Champion Home Builder, Inc has opportunities available for Full-Time Construction HUD Set Crew Members to join our organization in various regions across the country, preparing lots, setting, and finishing homes.

Starting rate will be $17 - $30+ / hour depending upon HUD SET experience.

As a Construction Set Crew Member, you will travel to job sites armed with energy, wit, and the drive to ensure each of your coworkers gets the most out of their career and that every home is treated as if it were your own. Summary :

Champion Home Builders is a leader in off-site construction, offering customers solutions from single-family homes to large-scale commercial buildings all built in a controlled factory setting and then assembled onsite. Champion is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team. The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The key responsibilities of this position are outlined below. Other duties may be assigned.

• Set (block and level) Manufactured Housing Units (HUD code homes both single and double-wide).
• Structurally fasten the units.
• Complete the roof closure and shingling.
• Close up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams to provide a weather-tight product.
• Complete interior trim out, finish work, install siding, and skirting.
• Maintain company tools and materials. Inform management of any issues that arise.
• Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.

Education and / or Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
