What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities as required. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow within the location. Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address concerns and support a positive environment. Complete required reports and documentation regarding daily activities, incidents, and / or observations as directed by site procedures. Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
