The Role : Tax Accountant

As a Tax Accountant at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what's possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting tax compliance and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all required filings. You will work closely with the Accounting and Finance team and report directly to the tax manager.

What You'll Do

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all tax-related forms, schedules, and filings.
• Research federal and state tax issues, document conclusions, and maintain strong technical tax knowledge.
• Respond to information requests from federal and state tax authorities.
• Coordinate information gathering to support internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare federal and state corporate tax and information returns.
• Prepare and record tax-related journal entries and perform detailed reconciliations of multiple tax accounts.
• Support tax-related forecasting and analysis across various jurisdictions.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc tax research and analysis as needed.
• Drive next-level innovation in Accounting to support our mission-critical infrastructure.
