Job Objective(s) :

Responsible to assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning and leading a variety of activity programs designed to meet the resident’s social, physical, mental, emotional, and sensory needs.

Job Details :

Part-Time hours : Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Location : Mainly support activities in the Memory Care Unit

Details : This position can start ASAP as on-call and will transition into the part-time role end of this year 2025

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year activities experience in independent retirement, assisted living, adult day services or long-term care facility serving a senior population.
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia, or a willingness to complete dementia-specific training.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Complete DOT assessment
• Ability to use basic Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) computer programs.
• Creativity in developing and planning activity programs.
• Group leadership and interpersonal skills to lead one on one, small, and large group activities.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident’s best interest.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good work ethic.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
