Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Ranson, West Virginia 25438 Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Medical / Surgical & Telemetry Unit Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), rotating weekends and holidays Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Contract Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 10 / 24 / 2025 – End : 1 / 23 / 2026) Employment Type : Travel Nurse – On-Site Charting System : Epic EMR Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880–$2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry nursing experience Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to provide professional references and resume upon submission Must reside at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a 16-bed Medical / Surgical and Telemetry unit Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient progress Manage wound care, CBI, catheter care, and orthopedic procedures Accurately document all care and procedures using Epic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to Telemetry unit as needed Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 5 Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Ranson, West Virginia!
