Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Highly successful neurosurgery program in Denver, Colorado is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! Be part of a group with outstanding APP culture and an excellent track record of training and retaining PAs and NPs. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in neurosurgery as a PA, however the group is also willing to train candidates with other surgical experience, or even an exceptional new graduate with a neurosurgery rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Approximately 50/50 split between OR and clinic
• Work one-on-one with a fellowship trained neurosurgeon
• First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
• See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic
• On-call schedule - approximately 1 week per month

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in neurosurgery or another relevant surgical specialty
• Ability to obtain Colorado Physician Assistant License
• DEA License
• BLS/ACLS
