POSITION SUMMARY

The Paint Prepper will prepare the truck for the paint process according to job specifications and ensure quality in the paint prep process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

• Be efficient in tools / equipment to sand, grind, and apply body filler to the apparatus to prepare for paint.
• Wipes down the cab with wax and grease remover.
• Inspects for flaws, dents, or imperfections on the truck’s body.
• Compares to spec book and follows along with guidelines to best prepare the body.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
