Located in Portland, ND

Production Operator - $20 / hr - $24 / hr

HOURS : Full-time

LOCATION : Portland, ND

REPORTS TO : Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY :

Production operator is responsible for monitoring the process to ensure equipment is ran efficiently to produce a high-quality product. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintaining neat and organized production records.
  • Follow production SOPs and adhere to food plant GMPs in the workplace.
  • Follow the Food Safety Plan put in place by the A department to ensure high level of sanitation and food safety.
  • Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Perform general housekeeping of all production areas.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Assist maintenance department as needed.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

None

QUALIFICATIONS :

Required Experience : None

Preferred Experience : Previous experience in a food environment.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of Forklift safety and operation
  • Basic knowledge of all Microsoft office applications

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION :

  • Minimum Required Education : High School diploma or equivalent
  • Special Certifications, Courses or other Training Required : Forklift Certified preferred

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Regularly lifting of up to 50 Ibs.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work in hot / cold, dusty conditions.

    • OTHER RELEVANT JOB INFORMATION :

  • Must be able to work overtime and on weekends, occasionally on short notice.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications
