The RRT will provide expert respiratory care to neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients in a Level I trauma children’s hospital setting. Candidates must have hands-on experience with ventilator management, nitric oxide, and advanced airway support . The role requires flexibility to float between the NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed. Responsibilities : Perform respiratory assessments and provide treatment to neonatal and pediatric patients. Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation (Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5). Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy (including HFNC, CPAP, BiPAP). Provide airway management, including suctioning, extubation, and tracheostomy care. Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and adjust treatment accordingly. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in a critical care setting. Float as required between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units. Requirements : Active Indiana RRT License (IN license must be in hand at submission). NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required. Minimum 18 months of recent NICU or PICU experience. Certifications : Required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Education : CoARC-accredited and CHEA-recognized respiratory program. Trauma I experience in a children’s hospital within the last year required. First-time travelers accepted! Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
