Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - 13 Week Contracts

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. • 40-hour weekly guarantee

• Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm No weekends, holidays or call

• Responsibilities :
• Facilitating rehabilitation of patients by providing treatment and plans developed in collaboration with occupational therapist
• Helping patients develop or regain physical or mental abilities allowing them to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
• Observing and monitoring the patients performance and progress
• Monitoring patient exercises and activities to provide encouragement and ensure they are performed correctly
• Authenticating, preparing, and submitting of documentation, ensuring confidentiality of all records, per HIPAA guidelines
• Qualifications :
• Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant License or eligibility for licensure
• CPR Certification
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in skilled nursing and / or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
