As a Security Professional - Retail Access Control in Hialeah, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a bustling retail distribution location. Mon06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.

Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or vendors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required for incident response and reporting.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
