The schedule will be 4x10's M-F. OR's run from 0700-1730. Call is minimally 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend day per 6-week schedule (Saturday or Sunday). New nurses coming on also will be expected to learn to scrub as well as circulate so that we can be a dynamic and supportive team

This 15 week full-time paid program, is designed to teach RNs the scrub and circulating role in the Operating Room with the expectation of a long-standing career in an OR setting. The Perioperative Program provides classroom lecture, skill development during mock surgeries and precepted clinical experiences that are integrated to facilitate your success. Following successful program completion, orientation and training continues as you gain knowledge and skills in other clinical OR specialties.

We are currently accepting applications from RN students graduating in December 2025 or earlier . Candidates with a graduation date after December 2025 will be considered for future positions once eligible
Candidates hired into this role will be required to start on one of the following perioperative orientation days and be available for the entire 15 week program :

Position Requirements
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients / families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are :

Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
License & Certification Requirements
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Note : Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred
Preference is strongly given to candidates with previous experience in an OR practicum, internship, or unlicensed patient care support role.
