Hours : Part time 3 PM - 6 PM
Compensation
Base Hourly Rate : $29 - 37 (based on pediatric experience)
Paid at same rate for cancellations / no-shows

As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll play a crucial role in helping children reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities include :
Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric clientsAssist in conducting therapy sessions using appropriate techniques and strategiesHelp children develop speech and language skills through engaging, play-based activitiesSupport assessments and screenings, documenting client progress and observationsMaintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reportsCommunicate effectively with parents and caregivers about therapy progress and home strategiesWork with our interdisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, COTAs) to ensure comprehensive careParticipate in team meetings and continuing education opportunitiesAbout Whole Child Therapy

Requirements :
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in CaliforniaA passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their lives.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation.Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of pediatric patients.Ability to work independently while also being a team player.Previous experience in pediatric speech therapy or relevant fieldwork experience is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
