The Shift Leader assists the store manager in operational duties to ensure the business is running efficiently and effectively and ensure staff performance aligns with company goals. Ensure daily objectives / tasks are completed and communicate any issues with upper management in a timely manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience.
- Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, and anticipating customer needs.
- Utilizing downtime to be prepared and keeping the team on task.
- Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce / improve performance.
- Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales.
- Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures.
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.
- Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested.
- Follow all opening, midday, and closing procedures.
- Must work one shift on the weekend.
- Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members.
- All other duties assigned by management.
