Are you ready to help shape the future of Oregon Youth Authority's facilities? We are seeking a Construction Project Manager 1 to lead and coordinate construction and remodel projects across the agency. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with OYA's mission.
As a Construction Project Manager 1, you will oversee projects from planning through completion, managing budgets, schedules, and contract administration. You will monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with all requirements, and provide thorough inspection services to maintain quality and safety standards. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with agency staff, contractors, architects, and engineers to deliver successful projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to teamwork. Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. We are also seeking someone who applies an equity lens to all aspects of planning and implementation, ensuring our facilities are inclusive and accessible.

To qualify for this position (minimum qualifications) :
Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Oregon Project Management Associate Certification (OPMA) or other related certification will substitute for 1 year of the qualifying experience.
