Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist with an active Oregon license and BLS certification for a day shift role serving both adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

  • Work in both acute and outpatient rehabilitation therapy settings
  • Serve adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses
  • Evaluate and treat disorders involving speech, language, swallowing, cognition, and voice
  • Day shift schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM with rotating weekends
  • Therapists may travel to multiple points of care
  • Responsible for evaluating and managing patients through all phases of care from intake to discharge
  • Collaboration with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary healthcare teams is expected
  • Therapist-driven treatment schedules allow for professional autonomy
  • Rotating weekend coverage is required
  • Applicants must have the required certifications and experience for consideration
  • Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Compliance (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
  • Healthcare Provider-level BLS certification required
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Ability to travel to different care sites as needed
