We are looking a Logistics Manager to add to our team in our DeLand, FL plant!
Essential Duties :
- Maintain a safe workplace and proactively manage the safety culture.
- Manage in accordance with ISO standards 9001,14001,45001, and 37301.
- Manage all inbound and outbound goods movements, ensuring timely and accurate entries into ERP system.
- Ensure delivery of product free from damage, on time and in full.
- Manage vendors and drive high performance, negotiate rates.
- Set housekeeping standards and inspect on a regular basis.
- Effectively lead subordinate supervisors and employees.
- Maintain discipline, monitor attendance, and appraise performance.
- Using continuous improvement methods develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve methods and equipment performance.
- Ensure employees are trained on Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments.
- Report KPI’s as required.
- Keep within all relevant budgets and monitor freight costs vs revenues.
- Responsible for performing tasks involved in traffic logistics management, including delivery creation, invoicing, customs documentation, product distribution and inventory control.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Provide services that guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods manufactured by third parties inside or outside the organization.
- Submit reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Manage, organize and control inventory.
- Respond to any internal or external complaints with effective RC / CA.
- Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Computer Skills :
Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook and SAP.Other Skills and Requirements :
Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.Must be extremely proactive, organized and deadline oriented.Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.A team player, who should also be self-motivated and able to work independently.Customer Service oriented.Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills.Physical Demands :
