Schedule Day Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM Job Description Join our dedicated team in the Critical Care Float Pool, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various units within the hospital, with the exception of Psych and ED unless for managing holds. This position requires flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical units and manage a patient load that may include 6-7 patients. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced critical care environment. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including neurology, respiratory failure, CHF, and various post-operative scenarios. Utilize specialty equipment such as IABP, CRRT, and ICP monitoring as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Float between units as required, adapting to various patient care responsibilities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Current New York RN license at the time of submission. Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. NURSYS report for license verification must be provided with all active RN licenses.
