Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cardiac Sonographer

Perform high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasounds following established protocols

Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety

Analyze diagnostic images and provide accurate preliminary findings to physicians

Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the Travel Cardiac Sonographer

RDCS or RCS certification (required)

BLS certification (required)

2+ years of echocardiography / cardiac sonography experience

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound protocols
