Controls Engineer

An Industrial Engineering company specializing in mechanical and control systems commissioning and decommissioning is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. As a Controls Engineer, you will design and program control systems for conveyors for various clients within logistics, manufacturing, and air travel industries. You will be responsible for the design of industrial control panels using AutoCAD. Additionally, responsibilities include programming PLCs from concept to completion. You will work with AutoCAD, Rockwell , Allen-Bradley , and network design. This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire (will go permanent after 6 months with room for advancement). A federal background check and drug test are required upon an offer being extended.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree heavily preferred

5+ years' experience programming PLC and HMI from concept to completion

3+ years AutoCAD design experience for control panels

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Rockwell Automation - RS Logic 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package)
