Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Tampa, FL , is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its expanding operations. This is a new position created due to company growth—ideal for a candidate with at least 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment . The role offers strong advancement potential as the company scales both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and review accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis

Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Prepare profit and loss statements and expense reports

Manage entries and reconciliations in the general ledger

Support project costing and inventory / manufacturing accounting including bill-of-materials

Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the accounting function

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including the use of pivot tables and advanced functions

Experience with ERP or MRP systems ; experience with Acumatica preferred
