Description :

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry.

The role involves working in a unit with 37 beds.

Day shift staff includes 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk.

Night shift consists of 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs.

Patient ratios are 1 : 6, and 1 : 4 for heart catheterization patients.

Required equipment includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes.

The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be independent, and possess a positive attitude.

Key procedures performed in this unit include central line placements, medication drips, heart catheter recovery, and bubble studies.

This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology and experienced staff.

Candidates with the appropriate skill set will be given priority consideration.
