Summary :

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Echocardiogram Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography across various patient populations. Additionally, you will be proficient in specialized echocardiography procedures, including stress echocardiography. Accurate record-keeping reflecting exceptional patient care is essential. You will also support the performance of other cardiopulmonary procedures as needed, creating an environment focused on quality and cost-effective patient care.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver age-appropriate care for patients ranging from neonates to adults, including those with congenital defects.
  • Implement safety measures and select appropriate equipment tailored to the physical and developmental age of patients.
  • Adapt quickly to various echocardiography equipment, software, and protocols.

Requirements :

  • Must hold an Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on training is required, along with attendance at at least one formal echocardiography training seminar (e.g., Owen Brown).
  • ARDMS or CCI Echo Credential is required.
