Are you a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) seeking a rewarding opportunity? Brownsburg Family Dentistry invites you to join our dedicated team.

Working closely with experienced professionals, you'll play a key role in improving our patients' oral health.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Take proper diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with a sensor, including FMX.
  • Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
  • Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements :

  • Valid EFDA certification in the state of Indiana.
  • X-ray and CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
  • Skilled in Class IV and V anterior restorations.
  • Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR / SR fillings, crown / bridge prep.
  • Ability to set and break operatories.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
