Full-Time Neonatologist Opportunity in Topeka, Kansas

Pediatrix Medical Group is currently seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join a five-physician practice at a prominent healthcare facility in Topeka, Kansas. Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time BC / BE Neonatologist position available.
• Work a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule, with approximately 170 hours of in-house coverage per month.
• Provide in-house call and backup call from home.
• Join a team of five physicians to deliver a full range of services in a 36-bed NICU.
• Perform services including high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling, and aEEG.
• Manage an average daily census of 26 patients with an average length of stay of 19 days.
• Handle approximately 500 admissions annually.
• Access to pediatric subspecialty support in Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, and Endocrinology.
• Maintain Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in the Care of Premature Babies since 2012.
• Open to new Fellow graduates who are already board-certified in Pediatrics.
