Bilingual Entry-Level CNC Operator
Temp-to-Hire | 2nd Shift (3 : 30 PM – 2 : 00 AM, Mon–Thu) | $15.00 / hr
Summary :
Entry-level CNC Operator responsible for preparing and operating CNC machines to fabricate and shape materials according to specifications. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities :
Review blueprints, work orders, and drawings to prepare for jobs.
Set up and operate CNC routers, knife cutters, and related tools.
Stage raw materials, select tools, and program tool paths using AutoCAD and related software.
Perform machine setup, including clamping workpieces and setting offsets.
Conduct daily maintenance, backup files, and keep a clean workspace.
Fabricate holding fixtures and optimize production processes.
Report equipment / tooling issues to supervisors.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED required.
18 months of related experience / training preferred.
Basic computer skills and beginner-level experience in :
AutoCAD, Inspire, Tool Path software
J.D. Edwards’ OneWorld
Ability to read measurements, perform basic math (fractions, decimals, etc.), and use measuring tools (calipers, tape, protractors).
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Team-oriented with ability to follow safety policies and work with minimal supervision.
