Job description

Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position available at Select Specialty Hospital Northern Kentucky. This full-time role offers night shifts with 12-hour durations from 7p-7a. Compensation is up to $26.44 per hour based on experience, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair
  • Participate in hourly rounds
  • Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
  • Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
  • Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
  • Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications include :

  • High school diploma / GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
  • BLS is required within 90 days of hire
  • Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
