Job Title : Licensed Health Insurance Agent - Renewals & Client Support Overview : We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Health Insurance Agent to join our team, focusing on renewals, client retention, and servicing existing policies rather than outbound sales. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, guide clients through renewal options, assist with healthcare applications, and rewrite ancillary products as needed. Your goal is to provide clear, accurate information while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service. Key Responsibilities : Manage client renewals during OEP / AEP, ensuring coverage continues seamlessly. Assist clients with policy updates, rewrites, and application changes. Explain healthcare coverage options in an easy-to-understand manner. Handle both inbound and outbound calls to support client needs, with a focus on service—not sales. Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines, internal policies, and training requirements. Use platforms such as HealthSherpa to process applications and policy adjustments. Deliver a client-first experience by addressing concerns and providing timely, accurate assistance. Required Experience & Qualifications : Active 2-40 or 2-15 license in good standing. No current or prior CMS suspensions. CE’s and FFM training up to date. Preferred Experience : 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Health Agent, with prior success handling OEP / AEP projects. Previous experience working directly with CMS. Proficiency using HealthSherpa for applications and renewals.
