Role Summary

The role is the driving force behind the ACA+ functionality from project start to the milestone end of production and is the central contact person throughout the product development process. The role is responsible for interdisciplinary concept design, definition and specification at project start, as well as implementation, testing and approval of the intended functionality during the ongoing process.

Role Responsibilities

Main responsibility

• Concept Design and Definition of the Functionality (20%)
• Translating the needs of marketing and sales into technical descriptions
• Identifying relevant stakeholders for realizing the intended functionality
• Setting up a functional team to coordinate further development
• Clarifying requirements with other stakeholders (other components or functionalities) and documenting them formally
• Ensuring the functionality is considered within the electrics / electronics architecture as well as the whole car architecture
• Controlling the creation and implementation of functional architectures, safety analysis, safety concepts and test concepts

Work Flexibility

In the Silicon Valley, the salary range for this role is $135,600 - $183,100, depending on education and years of relevant experience. Salary is determined by geographical location and adjusted accordingly. Other benefits include : eligibility for annual performance bonus, healthcare benefits, 401(k) with company match, defined contribution retirement program, tuition reimbursement, company lease car program, and paid time off.
