Machine Specialties, LLC (MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing company that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company is located in Whitsett, NC, about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quote Specialist. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that will report to our Estimating Manager and CFO.

In this role, you will support our customers and sales team by preparing accurate, timely quotes and pricing, while ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. You will work closely with sales representatives, customers, and suppliers to deliver exceptional service and help drive revenue growth. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate, complete, and timely customer quotations.
• Review Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and confirm all required details with the customer.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure special pricing and source special-order items.
• Partner with inside sales representatives to identify upselling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and current pricing information for all products and services.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure all quotes meet company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure opportunities are properly qualified and pursued.
• Support sales operations through administrative tasks, data entry, and reporting.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage workload effectively, setting priorities to meet deadlines.
• Participate in department and sales meetings as required.
