Join Our Team : Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a renowned destination in the Florida Keys, is looking for dedicated Banquet Setup Staff to join our team. This role is vital in creating the perfect setting for our diverse range of events held beachside, or in the brand-new Islamorada Ballroom, the largest event space in the upper Keys. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Efficiently set up and break down banquet / buffet tables, chairs, and equipment for diverse events.
- Arrange table settings, display centerpieces, and decorations to reflect the elegance of Cheeca Lodge & Spa.
- Assist with the placement and removal of audiovisual equipment and other event-related items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of event spaces.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.Capability to stand and bend repetitively during shifts.Handle the physical demands of setting up and breaking down event spaces.Must already be eligible to work in the USA - sorry no sponsorships.No hand / neck / face tattoosNo facial piercingsWhat We Offer :

Education
High school diploma or GEDSkills and Experience (Essential)
At least 18 years of ageBasic computer skillsMust be able to speak, read and write English and have basic food / beverage knowledgeMust be able to work well under pressure while retaining tact and composure when resolving guest complaintsSkills and Experience (Preferred)
One year in the hospitality or restaurant industryDegree in food-service fieldFluency in Spanish
