About The Position

Certifications : BLS, BSSR Attestation

Must-Have :

• Charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience preferred
• Charting system experience preferred

Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

ASAP start required.

13-week assignment.

48 hours per week.

4x12-hour variable shifts from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30 and 19 : 30 to 07 : 30.

Floating may be required.

Every other weekend coverage required.

No holiday requests will be approved.

First-time travelers accepted.

On night shift, the nurse will manage 5 patients without a nursing assistant on duty.

Day and evening shifts will have a nursing assistant on duty if the patient census is greater than 7.

Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation is needed.

Administration of blood and blood products is required.

Knowledge of managing various medical conditions including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, fractures, and complex medical / surgical conditions is essential.

Skills in patient teaching, mobilization techniques, and pain assessment are necessary.

Communication with AIDET and excellent customer service is expected.

Compliance with national patient safety goals / core measures is required.

Candidates may float within the facility as needed.
