Contract-to-Hire | Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Assignment Duration : 13+ weeks with potential for permanent hire

Start Date : As soon as possible

Pharmacy Type : Closed-door, long-term care facility

Prescription Volume : Approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Software : Frameworks (training provided if needed)

Position Summary :

A professional long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This role involves supporting daily operations in a high-volume, closed-door pharmacy. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

Package medications accurately in formats such as unit-dose or blister packs

Assist with inventory tasks : ordering, receiving, stocking, and verifying expiration dates

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for both medications and patient records

Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely delivery of prescriptions

Schedule :

Evening shifts available

Rotational weekend coverage (one weekend per month)

Required Qualifications :

Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License

National certification through PTCB

Previous pharmacy experience required (LTC or high-volume preferred)

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure

Willingness to learn Frameworks software if not already familiar

Pay Range :

$21 to $23 per hour , depending on experience and certification level
