Retention Marketing Associate
We're looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven, and creative Retention Marketing Associate to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll support the planning, execution, and performance tracking of lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
You'll work across multiple touchpointsemail, direct mail, and in-home print assetsto ensure our customers receive timely, relevant, and personalized communications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in CRM or email marketing looking to grow their strategic and technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing email and SMS campaigns across the customer lifecycle (e.g., welcome series, post-purchase, re-engagement).
- Build and deploy campaigns in our email and SMS marketing platform - Klaviyo
- Partner with the creative team to produce on-brand, high-performing email and SMS content.
- Conduct A / B tests and analyze performance data to optimize subject lines, content, and segmentation strategies.
- Support the management of customer segments and ensure accurate targeting and personalization.
- Coordinate the production of in-home marketing materials such as postcards, catalogs, product inserts.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Creative, Operations, Merchandising) to develop print content aligned with customer journey touchpoints.
- Manage vendor timelines and ensure accurate and timely delivery of printed materials.
- Track campaign performance and support reporting efforts for in-home initiatives.
- Monitor key CRM metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe, etc.) and prepare weekly / monthly reports.
- Support lifecycle marketing team with campaign recaps and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand customer behavior and inform segmentation strategies.
Qualifications
12 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing (internships included).Basic understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Braze, SFMC) and CRM tools.Familiarity with A / B testing, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.Bonus : Experience with direct mail campaigns or printed marketing materials.
