Job descriptionPosition Summary : Key Responsibilities : Installation : Install plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters according to local codes and manufacturer specifications. Maintenance & Repairs : Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs on pipes, fixtures, and appliances as needed, ensuring quality workmanship. Customer Service : Interact professionally with clients, assess their plumbing needs, provide estimates, and explain services in a clear and friendly manner. System Inspections : Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems and fixtures to identify potential issues and recommend necessary services or upgrades. Troubleshooting : Utilize problem-solving skills to diagnose system malfunctions, recommend solutions, and execute repairs in a timely manner. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions in the company’s service management software. Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and plumbing standards to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others. Team Collaboration : Work alongside other technicians, apprentices, and support staff to complete projects and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program in plumbing is preferred. Valid plumbing license and / or certification as required by local regulations. Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing service and installation. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and repair techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks.
