About The Position We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24-hour shifts providing round-the-clock care in a NICU setting, addressing both high-risk deliveries and standard neonatal care needs. Job Details Location : California Facility Type : Hospital Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 24-hour shifts, 24 / 7 coverage required Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care in a NICU setting. Manage daily patient rounds and neonatal procedures. Respond to neonatal emergencies within a 30-minute window. Maintain collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality of care. Handle a yearly delivery rate, with 10-12% being high risk. Utilize the Epic EMR system to document all patient interactions and procedures. Additional Information Required Board Certifications : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP); Neonatology Must be either board certified or board eligible in Neonatology.
