Position Purpose :

• Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour and it is paid on the bi-weekly basis. Overtime (OT) is offered based on business needs and is paid time and-a-half after 40 hours of work per week.
• Driver must have a good experience backing a truck as we maneuver in very tight areas.
• Daily uniforms and working boots are provided free of charge.
• Work Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridday. The shift starts at 7 : 00am and drivers work 4 days per week between 10 to 11 hours per day without exceeding 11 hours of driving per DOT compliance. Three (3) days off.
• Local Routes : Varies from 25 to 35 per day.
• The equipment to operate / drive is a 26-Foot box truck.
• This is a TOUCH-FREIGHT position. Box trucks need to be loaded, adjusted, and secured.

The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.
